High-density polyethylene pipes provide a durable and flexible piping solution for potable-water distribution, raw-water transmission, sewerage under pressure, irrigation, pumping, industrial services and underground infrastructure.
HDPE pipes offer excellent resistance to corrosion, impact, ground movement and many commonly encountered chemicals. Their flexibility and long continuous supply lengths make them suitable for buried pipelines, uneven ground, road crossings and horizontal directional drilling.
The range includes PE100 and selected PE80 solid-wall pressure pipes supplied in coils or straight lengths, depending on the pipe diameter, wall thickness and project requirements.

Suitability for potable water, chemicals, fire-water, marine or specialised applications must be confirmed against the selected pipe specification.
HDPE pressure pipes are normally specified by their actual outside diameter in millimetres.

Common metric sizes include:
20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110, 125, 140, 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 560 and 630 mm.
Actual available sizes, coil lengths and straight-pipe lengths depend on the manufacturer, SDR class and project quantity.
PE100 is the most commonly specified modern material grade for pressure-water pipelines. Its higher minimum required strength allows higher pressure ratings or comparatively thinner walls than PE80 at the same outside diameter.
PE80 is used in selected existing systems, smaller service pipes and applications where it is specified by the project.
PE100-RC is a specialised PE100 material with enhanced resistance to slow crack growth. It may be specified for trenchless installation, reduced bedding, point loading or difficult ground conditions.
Material grade alone does not determine the pipe’s pressure capability. The PE grade, SDR, wall thickness, temperature and operating conditions must be considered together.

For the same outside diameter and material grade, a lower SDR number indicates a thicker pipe wall and generally a higher pressure rating.

PN10, PN12.5 and PN16 are among the commonly requested pressure classes for Malaysian water-supply and infrastructure projects.
The SDR-to-PN relationship differs between PE100 and PE80. Allowable operating pressure may also require adjustment for temperature, pressure surges, service conditions and design life.
Certification and approval must be confirmed against the exact manufacturer, pipe series, size and pressure class offered.
Standard water pipes should not automatically be offered for gas applications. Gas installations require the correct gas-pipe specification, identification and regulatory approval.
Please confirm the following before placing an order:
HDPE pipes are outside-diameter controlled. Two pipes with the same outside diameter but different SDR ratings have different wall thicknesses and internal flow diameters.
HDPE solid-wall pressure pipes are also different from corrugated drainage pipes and cable ducts. Products of similar external size may have completely different wall structures, performance ratings and approvals.
Always verify the pipe dimensions, PE grade, SDR, pressure class, service conditions and applicable project specification before ordering.
